Pokémon full art trainer cards weren’t a thing when Pokémon cards initially released. Not only that, but trainer cards weren’t particularly valuable at all for the first 10+ years. There were a few incredibly rare promos like the Lucky Stadium, but they were few and far between.
In modern Pokémon cards though, Full Art trainers are highly sought after and collected. Believe it or not, there are some seriously valuable trainer cards that you or someone else may have picked up without knowing it.
This article then will cover the most valuable raw, English, Full Art Trainer Pokémon cards. Believe it or not, the English cards don’t hold a candle to the Japanese Full Art Trainers. We will cover those another time.
*Please note that this article was updated in May of 2025, so pricing may have changed since then.*
Let’s get to it!
#15 – Green’s Exploration #209
Raw: ~$90 | PSA 10: ~$250
Green’s Exploration was part of the Unbroken Bonds set, which has a number of incredibly cute Pokémon cards, including the one above. Despite the appearance though, this card has some incredible value despite only being released in 2019.
If you like this card or the set it comes from, then rejoice. There is more in store on this list shortly!
#14 – Red’s Challenge #213
Raw: ~$90 | PSA 10: ~$280
See? Didn’t have to wait long at all to get our second Unbroken Bonds Trainer card. This time in the form of Red’s Challenge.
In case you were wondering, the Unbroken Bonds set trainers are colors as a tribute to some of the original Pokémon games. What other reason do you need to pick some of them up?
#13 – N’s Resolve #232
Raw: ~$90 | PSA 10: ~$200
At the #13 most valuable Full Art Trainer card, we have N’s Resolve from the Cosmic Eclipse set. The Cosmic Eclipse set was yet another that was released in 2019, like the two above it.
N’s Resolve was a unique card as its function – “Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then draw 3 cards. Your opponent shuffles their hand into their deck, then draws 4 cards.” – was seen as both a gamble and a way to disrupt the opponents deck.
This card has massively jumped in value from January 2025 where it was valued at $40. Better get it soon before it crosses the $100 mark!
#12 – Erika’s Hospitality #174
Raw: ~$100 | PSA 10: ~$260
Next up on the list is Erika’s hospitality from the incredibly popular Team Up set. Because of this card and a number of others (also on this list) the Team Up set is one of the most valuable Pokémon card sets ever released.
Erika’s Hospitality is one of many cards from the set that started and remained incredibly valuable upon release. If nothing else, the floral and leafy background makes for a great background in your binder!
#11 – Lusamine #153
Raw: ~$110 | PSA 10: ~$400
At #11 we have Lusamine from the Ultra Prism set. While it’s the first trainer from this particular set, it most certainly isn’t the last.
While this particular Lusamine card hasn’t increased in value like some of the others on this list, it has certainly had a steady increase in value since Jan 2023.
If you have it in your collection already, congrats! As of January 2025, it has crossed into the $100 card club!
#10 – Red & Blue #234
Raw: ~$115 | PSA 10: ~$325
Coming in at #10 is our first shared trainer card of the list. Red & Blue is our second Cosmic Eclipse card and is a standalone on this list for its more anime cartoon-like art. Yes, I do know that Pokémon is an anime, but I think you understand my point.
Unfortunately, there is only one other shared trainer art on this list. Hopefully though, Red and Blue scratched that itch enough for now.
#9 – Lillie’s Full Force #230
Raw: ~$125 | PSA 10: ~$330
Tired of the Cosmic Eclipse set yet? Hopefully not. Lillie’s Full Force is the third and still not final card from it.
Cosmic Eclipse has a very dynamic set of art, and Lillie’s Full Force embraces the cuter and more magical side of that. The artwork, while not quite in the Top 25 Cutest Cards list, it is most certainly a contender.
Add in the fact that it’s a $125+ card and most would agree it’s worth having in any binder.
#8 – Sabrinas Suggestion #181
Raw: ~$130 | PSA 10: ~$450
Coming it at #8 is Sabrina’s Suggestion from the Team Up set. It is our second and final Full Art Trainer from the Team Up set that made the list. Don’t be too sad though, it shares some good company with the ridiculously popular Latias & Latios card.
If you are trying to get the master collection for this set, know that Sabrina’s Suggestion is just one of a number of other incredibly pricey cards you’ll have to pick up to complete it.
#7 – Cynthia & Caitlin #228
Raw: ~$140 | PSA 10: ~$370
Where our #10 contender adds the first dual trainer card, Cynthia & Caitlin take the cake on value. Yet again, this card is from… *dramatic pause*… the Cosmic Eclipse set.
While the number of male vs female cards on the list have been close, Cynthia & Caitlin separate the girls from the boys by a good bit of margin. This dynamic duo also adds a nice counterbalance with Cynthia sporting all black while Caitlin dons a much fancier pink coat and hat.
In case you had any hesitation, you should absolutely add this to your collection.
#6 – N #105a
Raw: ~$150 | PSA 10: ~$300
At #6, we have N #105a. The N #105a card is from the Fates Collide set which was released in 2016. This makes N the earliest released on the entire list.
While not from the coveted E Reader sets, it does sport the lines along the edge like some from those sets. On top of that, N has taken a massive jump in value from from January 2025 to May of 2025. It has increased 3x, from about $50 to $150 in that short period of time.
Better grab it before it goes up any higher!
#5 – Cynthia #SV82
Raw: ~$160 | PSA 10: ~$300
Where Cynthia shared some space in our #7 spot, she wanted to trade out her partner with a Lucario and Garchomp in the #5 spot. Can’t argue with that logic.
This Cynthia #SV82 is from the Hidden Fates set, released in 2019. Like the #6 spot above, this card has absolutely shot up in value from January 2025, going from an $80 card to a $150+ card.
How much higher will this card climb?
#4 -Cynthia #148
Raw: ~$215 | PSA 10: ~$795
Alright now Cynthia is just being greedy. She has abandoned all people and Pokémon to take the space for herself. Unlike the others though, the Cynthia #148 is from the Ultra Prism set.
In case you were wondering, this card yet again has massively increased its value from January 2025. In May 2025, the Cynthia #148 crossed into a average $200+ card for the first time.
#3 -Rosa #236
Raw: ~$230| PSA 10: ~$510
Coming in at #3 is our final and most expensive Cosmic Eclipse Trainer Card, Rosa #236. Rosa is both incredibly rare and incredibly useful in Pokémon gameplay, making it a valuable card since its release.
While this Rosa card didn’t see the massive spike that others did in January 2025, it has still remained incredibly valuable, even since early 2021.
If you’ve got $200+ burning a hole in your pocket, why not add Rosa to the collection?
#2 – Misty’s Favor #235
Raw: ~$240 | PSA 10: ~$925
Where other cards on this list go for a more intense and battle-focused look, Misty’s Favor #235… does not. Despite that being the case, Misty’s Favor had a cult-like following upon release and has remained unbelievably popular.
Misty’s Favor has also seen a large increase in value since January 2025, and has only very slightly ever gone down in value upon release. What other reason do you need to pick this one up?
#1 – Lillie #151
Raw: ~$405 | PSA 10: ~$1,750
The most expensive Full Art English Trainer card is the Lillie #151. And it’s not even close.
While Lillie #151 is part of the Ultra Prism set like others on this list, it has completely separated itself in value. This is partially due to the artwork and general popularity of the character. More so though is the fact that the Ultra Prism set was a limited run and Lillie was the rarest card from the set.
Interestingly, the Lillie #151 card has fluctuated significantly, from a low point of $170 all the way up to $475 in July of 2023. With the rarity and popularity of this card though, it is a great one to add to any collectors binder.
Summary
There has been a massive increase in popularity and pricing for a number of Full Art Pokémon Trainer cards. The top 15 most expensive though fall mostly to the Ultra Prism, Team Up, Unbroken Bonds, and Cosmic Eclipse sets, most of which were released on or around 2019.
Interestingly, this English trainer list doesn’t hold a candle to the Japanese Full Art Trainer list. Hopefully your wallet is ready to pick up some more.
